Rear Camera in Motion

Description

This product allows the use of the factory rear camera while the vehicle is in drive and moving. It is a PROGRAMMING option which means you will need to send us your current 2.5 HMI to be modified to include this feature. The only physical product included with this is the required harness, camera or modification.

This update uses a harness to help facilitate the mod which goes between the camera and the stock vehicle harness. The installation is easily done by even a novice.

This upgrade is perfect for weekend towers and occupational haulers alike. Whether you’re bringing the boat to the lake for the weekend or you tow for a living, having the ability to check on your hitch after a questionable bump, jerk or pot-hole through the press of a button is a great feature. This feature is also great for people who do not tow but want to get a better glimpse of what’s behind them while driving.

This feature adds a “Camera” button to your vehicle if you currently do not have one. Once pressed, you will be able to set the guidelines from 2 parallel lines to a straight line back, and will be given a 30s countdown timer to view the rear camera.

*Note – Some vehicles will require the modification of their original harness or a new camera will need to be sent. (Certain SUV’s). If your vehicle is not a 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado or Colorado, GMC Sierra or Canyon please contact us prior to purchase.
